BitDefender Antivirus Pro - Things We Like

Bit Defender Antivirus Pro has been designed far more carefully than most antivirus products, concentrating on keeping the user in mind. It has the built-in automatic modes Gaming, Laptop and Silent that mean gaming is smooth, laptop battery life is maximised and the system resources are never hogged. This ensures you maintain a high level of protection and are not tempted to turn off protection features. The database is advanced and detects a number of new malware and virus threats that others miss. It also has online monitoring to keep you safe while you browse, including warnings about dangerous sites and data and conversation protection as well as tracking cookie detection and blocking. The step by step video tutorials that teach you how to deal with threats are a great addition that makes safe computing far more accessible to all users. Parental controls over web access with built in monitoring of every user make this a good choice for parents who need to monitor their children's online activities. The detection protocols are unusually effective in not giving any false positives during BitDefender Antivirus Pro review. Support for auto-updating is very good with BitDefender Antivirus Pro download management features.

BitDefender Antivirus Pro - Things We Didn't Like

There is very little wrong with this program, however, the firewall alerts can be irritating and intrusive.

BitDefender: Popular low cost option

Advantages

Gamer mode allows the software to run while playing. Hourly updates to ensure that no viruses slip through the cracks.

Disavantages

New users may have a difficult time with the interface.
