MorphVOX Pro 4 is a desktop utility giving users the ability to manipulate, modify, and tweak their recorded voice. Designed to add a new dynamic to voiceover recordings, in-game conversations and team chats, and instant messengers and communications tools, MorphVOX Pro 4 uses a user-friendly voice control panel to modify voices in real time. Users can control their voice's timbre, pitch, and speed, or use one of MorphVOX Pro 4's many built-in voices as the basis for their new voice.

What sets MorphVOX Pro 4 apart from most voice and effect applications is the user interface. Instead of being designed to cover every aspect of voice manipulation and recording, MorphVOX Pro 4 manipulates voices in real time. This gives users greater control over their voice, and also makes modification and manipulation easier for users. Rather than recording and tweaking settings afterward, users can change their voice profile in real time.

MorphVOX Pro 4 is most effective when used as a fun gag on instant messengers and online video games. With voice chat proving remarkably popular amongst online gamers, particularly competitive online gamers, MorphVOX Pro 4 provides an easy way for gamers to disguise or clock their in-game voice. Instant messengers, many of which have voice messaging capabilities, can also be used with MorphVOX Pro 4, allowing users to remain anonymous during group conversations and online chat.

As a professional voice tool, MorphVOX Pro 4 isn't exactly ideal. While purported to be usable for voiceovers and narration, the majority of voice profiles available in MorphVOX Pro 4 simply aren't natural enough to be used in a high quality professional-level recording. However, for mp3 recording and online radio, MorphVOX Pro 4 provides an acceptable level of quality.

Available for Windows XP, Vista, and 7, a number of users have reported minor compatibility issues with MorphVOX Pro 4. When used alongside an instant messenger or PC game, compatibility issues can occur and freezing, input errors, and crashing have been reported. While relatively rare and minor, these issues could present a problem when MorphVOX Pro 4 is used for recordings or in-game conversation.
